Heavy Duty Teak Shower Bench helps make your shower barrier-free. This beautiful, commercial grade, Teak ADA Shower Seat has Drop Down Legs and a 550 pound weight capacity.

The seat of this wall-mounted Teak ADA Shower Seat is made of 1-3/8" wide battens, spaced for comfort and drainage. All batten edges are rounded over for comfort and safety, plus the entire seat is hand sanded to a smooth finish. When properly mounted into your wall studs, this commercial grade Teak ADA Shower Seat with Drop-Down Legs can support up to 550 pounds.

Burmese Teak

Our premium Teak which is pure heartwood from mature Teak trees grown in the Indonesia/South East Asia region. Heartwood Teak provides an elegant piece with unique grain patterns and a beautiful rich color giving any area an immediate WOW factor. The high silica content in teak makes it an ideal wood to use when a slip resistant surface is needed and the natural oil makes the wood resistant to mold and mildew.

Plantation Teak

Our FSC certified Plantation Teak comes from trees harvested from an actual plantation of younger Teak trees. Since we only use the heartwood of the tree, it has all the same qualities of old growth Burmese Teak but it is a little lighter in color and requires a little more maintenance.

Teak Maintenance

It is strongly recommended to performing routine teak cleaning when you clean your shower or bathroom. A deep clean, teak maintenance is recommended on a yearly basis to keep your piece looking new. It is also recommended to clean the underside of your mat or bench inspecting the rubberized footing each time you clean or re-oil it. Replace the rubberized footing if you start sensing any slippage or movement. Remember that Teak has a slip-resistant surface, but a soapy build-up can compromise this, so it is important to clean your Teak regularly. NOTE: Do not use a power washer.
